Ah, Catalina. That's where I went on my first date, back in 1964. And that's where my parents went on their honeymoon in 1946. Lovely place.

If you go to Catalina, take a jacket. I was there in July and it was cold. It is a lovely little island though. We rented a golf cart and toured the hills around Avalon. Expensive, of course, it's California!

Liz, I don't know any more than you do about Gerald. He's disappeared unless he is the person who uses various punctuation marks as an identity. And that person has denied being Gerald. At any rate, I would think him man enough to soldier through any teasing from me. Or woman enough -- whatever the case may be.

I spent my honeymoon there.

When was that, Dorthea? Did you live in San Francisco at the time?
