Attractive place. Where is it?

I looked and this it the northernmost part of Germany - North Sea, from Denmark, in the Schleswig-Holstein. Looks mostly like a resort area.

Sylt is an island off the coast of Germany and Denmark in the North Sea. We took a car train from Germany over and a ferry from Sylt to Denmark. People live on the island but not many. We were there in November and there were still tourist, us amoung them. The main town is Westerland where this photo was taken.

Looks like an interesting place. Kate, I will also follow the directions on DotCom's page as I'm not sure how to do this either.

DotCom, I am not very technology literate, and I managed to get myself one, so the directions must be very, very easy to follow!! To actually find an avatar, simply google it, and use one of the many free sites, or you can ask Angie!

Hi Kate From Sydney, thanks for the advice but I checked out the forum and Angie left me some nice wine and cheese and Sue From Oklahoma left me a beautiful chocolate cake with cherries but I still haven't found out how to make a picture which I finally managed to shrink down to 50X 50 picels into More...

OK Now I have a photo with .JPG but I'm supposed to send it to Gath to make it become my avatar? How do I do that? I wrote to Gath but that was an e-mail, how do I send my image?

Hey DotCom. Looks like you have a small problem.
If you have managed to shrink your avatar to the correct size, to submit the avatar to Gath. This is what you need to do.
A) Go to your own page, and look at the top right hand corner you should see a link for Update Details. Click on More...

Hey Angie From Melb. I hope you get this I sent you an e-mail as a reply to your e-mail but I don't think it got through. The only way I know how to get to my page is to click on the "Check out my page" which appears next to my name here, and then I'm treated like a guest and can't update details on my own page. Isn't there another way I can get to my own page?

I have logged in many times but I still get the "You must be logged in to submit a comment" error message when I try to leave a comment on your page.Also I don't have an "Update Details" anywhere on my page. When I go to the update details on the top right here I get the original "Become a Member" Page.

DotCom, I've sent Gath a message, hopefully he will be able to work out why you need to keep logging in, and can't find your update details page.
Just be a little patient, all will work itself out.

Angie, how do I insert an image into the body of my message (not an avatar)? I've seen a few on the boards but haven't found a way to do it yet. I'm familiar with Web design, so brief instrucitons should do it for me. For example, where/how did you get that big smiley?
